Back in 2005 when I was sitting at home recovering from a nasty virus that tried to kill me I discovered the internet. At least the part of the internet where people were saying they were making a living selling products on the internet as an affiliate. While I have met few people who enjoyed their job more than me; I did realize I was not very good at it and finding something else I could do would probably be a good idea. While my journey has been a long one with many changes along the way if I could start over I would have started with PTC sites before trying to sell products as an affiliate.
“Affiliate Marketing” was the name of the first game I was trying to play on the internet. It is like golf or tennis where learning what to do is easy but mastering what to do can take a life time. After you have sold half a dozen or so products that you never make any money on because you did not meet the owners “limit” do you start to realize how tough this can actually be. If you are lucky enough to find a product that you can make enough sales to make money on you see the owner decide he has moved on to a new product and no longer supports that one and on and on go the challenges of affiliate marketing.
While selling products on the internet as an affiliate can be lucrative it also takes time to learn and your competition never sleeps so you are spending a lot of time just keeping up. While these are all skills that can be learned if you can start making some money while you are learning that is a good motivation to keep at it.
Wordlinx was the first PTC site I found and I was amazed that I could be paid for just looking at ads. Granted it is not a lot of money but it was a way to learn and pay for my own advertising. Later on I was able to learn how to rent referrals and that required managing a large list of people which was very helpful in my learning how people act online.
Recently I started up at Neobux again because they also allow you to rent referrals and they were giving a lot of ads and therefore money at the end of 2016.
