Many years ago while listening to Mike Litman get all excited about all the great things he has learned and loves to share, a lady called in and said the following: “Gratitude, it all begins and ends with Gratitude”.
While I would be more than happy to tell you all the great things Mike Litman has shared I would rather tell you how that word, “Gratitude”, began to enter my life. I say enter my life because it continually amazes me how that one word started showing up in conversations, books, emails and even in ads I was viewing as someone who likes to read other peoples advertisements. I remembered a lesson that is taught in many places and relates to paying attention to those things that you would normally not pay attention to.
Being grateful is something that I have always found easy and I start my day by finding at least one new thing to be grateful for besides that I woke up. I also do not know whether you are religious or not but I believe this is part of learning a new skill and faith makes it easier for you to learn the lesson concerning giving before you start getting.
